Vortex Defender XL/COMPDOT and EOTECH EFLX- is made of 17-4 Stainless steel, heat treaded and cerakoted Graphite Black. RMR/407C/507C/508T/507 COMP/RMR Footprint- is made of 7075 aluminum then hard anodized. OEM Optics Ready Iron sights will work and sit around a lower 1/5th. For the Trijicon RCR and a lower 1/5th we recommend the XS R3D Suppressor Height Sights. RCR users will need to head to the link below and purchase longer 6-32 Capstan screws as the included screws with the optic are not long enough and we do not manufacture those screws. Trijicon SRO/RMR HD/Swampfox Justice and Liberty- is made of 7075 aluminum then hard anodized. For co witness we recommend XS RD3 Suppressor Height Sights for a lower 1/4th co witness for the SRO/RMR HD.
Holosun EPS/EPS Carry/407K/507K/RMSc Footprint- is made of 7075 aluminum then hard anodized. this is an optic plate, not an adapter and the optic is pushed back away from the LCI to reduce carbon build up. OEM Optics Ready Iron Sights work and are a lower 1/3rd.
Aimpoint ACRO P2- is made of 7075 aluminum then hard anodized. For the co witness with the OEM Optics Ready Iron Sights you will get a lower 1/6th with the ACRO P2.
Steiner MPS- is made of 7075 aluminum then hard anodized. For the co witness with the OEM Optics Ready Iron Sights you will get a lower 1/4th with the MPS. Steiner MPS plate is the same as the ACRO and we do recommend an improved clamp like Apex Tactical Super Clamp to work correctly with the ACRO Footprint. MPS and Riton plates will come with a 3D printed insert to remove the gap between the optic and the DOGTAG.
Holosun 509T- currently is made of 7075 and you will NOT get any co witness with OEM Optics Ready Iron Sights. If you have our aluminum plate, we recommend the XS Sights R3D Suppressor Height Iron Sights for a lower 1/5th. Currently we will be switching this plate to stainless steel to help co witness with OEM Optics Ready Iron Sights in February 2025.
DOGTAG Holster compatibility issues only exist with older Safariland 6390s and Alien Gear Rapid Force. The newer Safariland holsters have been modified to be compatible with larger longer optics like the RMR HD and SRO to our knowledge not causing any retention problems with duty holsters. If you purchase a DOGTAG and have a duty holster retention issue, we will issue a 100% refund.
As always, included with the plate is hardware to mount it, Torx Bit, and a small tube of Vibratite to complete the job.
